Haaretz Service: Mazuz calls for incitement probe against settler activists in response to West Bank rioting

The constant use of the term "settlers" and "the settlers" is simply poor journalism by Ha`aretz and other news outlets whose reporters and editors are too lazy to be factual and specific.
Depending on whom you ask, there are from 300,000 to 6 million "settlers". (Many Palestinians consider every single Jew to be a "settler", even if they`re descended from Jews who have lived here constantly for thousands of years).
Are 300,000 "settlers" behind the events in this story? Of course not, yet Ha`aretz uses the misleading term.
If a small group of leftists runs amok (take the weekly Nahalin riots for example), Ha`aretz doesn`t say "left wingers attack Israeli border police" or "the leftists smashed the security fence that is being built to protect Israeli citizens from Palestinian suicide bombers".

There is a small, hard core group of activists involved, yet Ha`aretz refuses to state the facts and pretends that "the settlers" are doing it.

Bad writing. Bad editing. Bad journalism
