| Actally we see (but not for the first time) the failure of democracy in Israel. After general elections, the parties are under the obligation to form a government. Being unable to do so, reveals them as being fit to oppose, but unfit to shoulder responsibility. Israeli coalitions - and what else but another coalition will elections bring about? - are alliances of weak and selfish partners, going together temporarily for short-term gains. |
