| It seems that in the U.S. there`s this problem with those labelled liberal, leftist, socialist, etc. which literally implies governmental involvement in the economic structure of a nation, especially its taxation policies. I once asked a good friend of mine who`s an economist the fundamental differences, and his reply was the governmental taxation mainly. Obama is not an individual who grew up post-WWII as in the 1950`s when the utopian ideals of socialism or even communism appealed to that young generation, especially if they grew up poor or disenfranchised. Obama, who`s smart, has seen the failure of communism around the world so it`s highly unlikely he`s a communist. Check out his mansion near Lakeshore blvd. in Chicago if you don`t believe me. |
