| Shas as a political party has shown again its true colors as a responsible and mature force to be reckoned with. It was not only the 600 million offering, it was dealing with a stagnant and incomprehensible mismatch of political eunuchs that had brought Israel and its citizenry close to civil rebellion after the second Lebanese war and the subsequent police investigations against its leader. The truce with Gaza, may be considered the only positive action,however a political price has been paid, for Hamas became master of the security surrounding Gaza. We should consider that the truce was made under the terms of Hamas and their missile stockpile.
