| A nest of scorpions /or gift of Danadars This 3rd contingent of brought in from Jordan soil where this so called Police Force was trained under the supervision of US Lt. Gen. Keith Dayton. This force in its training can be used either as a security police force or to be considered a ? light infantry force ?. It will be housed in barracks like any army unit. Its declared task is ??.to be focus on reclaiming law and order, but also to tackle Hamas infrastructure in the area?.? What is to be considered the declared operational area of this force is geographically operationally in coordination with the Israeli forces in the area, and ??.will begin in the southern part of Hebron, followed by the western part, and ending with a focus on the city itself?.?. Theoretically here takes a combined effort of Israel?s on one hand and Palestinian Mahmoud Abbas place.- Actually this action it is more than a novelty in international law, were the State of Israel as the occupier exercises sovereignity in an area were the owner sovereign is disputable. As great Britain relinquished its mandatory powers in 1948 also by its own declaration of handing back but without being able to hand the ?occupied area over to any other sovereign / country which was occupied by Jordanian forces up to 1969 and since then it is under Israeli occupation Mahmoud Abbas with his title of Presidency hardly can be classified to represent a sovereign existing country. - By International Law and understanding the occupying country is locally responsible for law and order! Now comes the most practical, immediate question who is / will be responsible for the population of the area handed over to this force, which will operate under whom?s legal authority, Israel? - In practice will the Israeli inhabitants be govern / protected and dealt with by Israeli authorities, who will controlled physical entry and exit from and to this area? So far this move was considered to be part of a measure to strengthen President Mahmoud Abbas control generally and in particular to tackle Hamas infrastructure in the area. Hebron is the West Bank`s largest city and considered a stronghold of the militant Islamic Hamas movement. All this, when Abbas appointment also is to end in the near future similar to the Israeli forthcoming change of government.- Whom will this troyanic force betray. |
