| The Israeli right wingers would like to continue settlement expansion and ignore the peace process. They would wish away the Palestinians and bomb Iran. They would continue to settle the Golan and resist peace with Syria. They would go to war with Hizbollah and bomb all of Lebanon in the process. In the eyes of America and the world, all of these things are off the agenda. Israels right will happily keep the nation in turmoil if they can`t have their way, and will ensure that America and the world are forced to take an adversarial position with Israel in order to find stability in the region. I really don`t like the individual right wingers, but I love what they do for me. |
