| Pope Pius at best did nothing and probably did work with the Nazis. His faliure to make ANY statement about the murder of Jews in Italy (even when the opportunity was presented to him) or anywhere else shows that he must is guilty and cannot be considered a Saint. Consider Denmark & Bulgaria where the Church stood up for the sanctity of life; and the Jews were largely saved than thanks to that intervention. History is about evidence and if the Vatican has evidence, contrary to all that is written to date,that Pius XII made any serious effort why don`t they publish this information? In the face of their silence today and the evidence of so many Jews murdered by Catholics in Catholic countries (Poland)we must assume that Pius XII was complicit and a willing participant. If he was working behind the scenes why doesn`t the Vatican prove it? To save one life is to save a whole world? What lives did he save? |
