Not having the courage to speak up against the most horrific mass murder in History when you are supposed to embody the highest moral standards is an insult to the church.
But of course the true Catholics have known for a long time that the popes do not always serve as examples, to say the least.
Shame on the Vatican. Let us honour the priests who helped hide and protect Jews in their villages, in their towns, not Pius XII. These good people not seeking glory are the true Catholics, unlike the prominent figures from Rome. |
