| THE SAUDI PLAN WILL GIVE THE ARABS EVERYTHING THEY WANT AND WILL DESTROY ISRAELS ECONOMY AND SECURITY Does Peres seriously believe the arabs would come up with a plan that had Israels best interests in mind? Financialy the Saudi plan would take Israel into a very deep recesion for the next decade or more and I am sure the Saudis have no intention on spending any of their oil billions on helping Israel avoid recesion & with the current economic climate nobody is going to bail out Israel They will all say give the arabs what they want & work out your own problems It will take Israel back to undefendable borders All we have from the arabs is they will keep their word & personly I think TERRITORY is safer than TREATY The Saudi plan means once you give the arabs everything they demand then the Gulf States will say hey look there is a country called Israel how did we miss that for 60 years Egypt & Jordan we have peace with, Syria is no military threat & it doesnt solve the Iranian threat |
