Why should the Chatholic Church give a damn about the opinion of the Israeli government? They can do as they please without obtaining permission from the Jews.

Besides, what does it matter to a JEW if a Christian is made a Saint? Does it make any difference to a Jew in the present or afterlife whether there are Saints or not? If Saints do not influence the Jewish religion or the Jewish way of life, why worry? Do Jews have such a high regard for the Pope that whatever he says, that will happen. Why not get the Pope then to come and sort the Israeli/Palestinian issue out. While his at it, let him handle the global financial crises. |
