| Excellent. But so long Israel continues to prevent basic necessities from getting into Gaza the Gazans will look for, and find, other ways - such as the tunnels. Diapers, clothes, shoes, chocholate and other foodstuff, schoobags, fuel etc are amongst the most popular items smuggled into Gaza via the tunnels. And Hamas gains from this, as they are now taxing the tunnel trade. Why not let normal trade through normal properly policed borders? There are 1,5 million inhabitants in Gaza. Why should they be punished because of Hamas? |
