| It seems to me that whatever the truth maybe about the pope, alienating Catholics may not be the best way forward for Israel now. America`s support is fading and will not be as strong as before for the foreseeable future given the economic turmoil it is undergoing and the disastrous results of its recent and not so recent foreign policies and wars. Europeans harbour strong antisemitic feelings mostly directed at the arabs, Israel should be careful not to steer those toward itself. Shalom |
