In an economy where the wages are depressed, as in many workplaces in Israel, where people are supposed earn minimum wage, and it often turns out to be less after taxes and National Insurance payments are deducted.
The Children Allowances are paid in part through the National Insurance payment, by the Working Poor, as well as those who are not as Poor. So . . . forget what the Iron Lady told you, and start lookin` around where real people live. Her economic policies have been reversed because they didn`t work. Ms Thatcher is responsible for much of the Working Poor in England, too, I guess. |
