Unlike with his predecessor, I think Obama will not take too well to Israel`s little game of "doublespeak" - that is, saying one thing but doing something else entirely. I have a sneaking suspicion that Israel`s trickery days are coming to a close, and that when Israel will promise to do something, it will be EXPECTED to carry out its promises.
A new wind is blowing in Washington - one that will blow away the outposts and checkpoints which Israel has long ago promised to remove.
After that, who knows...maybe Israel will be expected to also adhere to all its signed agreements dating back to 1993? Who knows... |
