A little bit of honesty from Shas please - they do not want to increase child allowances to help the poor - they want to increase child allowances only for people who are not responsoble enough to limit their families to the number of children that they can reasonably aford.
They want to continue the message that ultra orthodox children are the only ones who really matter and that therefore they should get extra money - them and them alone.
The single mother struggling to bring up two or three children is of no interest to them and therefore she is not included in their demands.
How can Shas be claimed to be a religious party if they cannot even keep the 10 commandments - starting with "Thou shall not steal" |
