Saudi Arabia is talking about peace, and is saying some very important things. Don`t look at it in concrete, military ways, but look at it in political terms. Consensus for a political solution is championed by Saudi Arabia, who is climbing down from the Arab rejectionist past of Khartoum, swallowing up a lot of pride that came with the traditional Arab rejectionist rhetoric. That is very significative and important. Don`t pooh-pooh it right away. Inhabit this space and widen it up; stay inside it and expand it; make this consensus more mediatic and common; make the "Arab street" feel it as their own, prideful way. Don`t expect concrete peace to come about. (Saudis are idiotic if they truly think Israel should dismantle its security barrier). But see the good side of it. And good there is plenty in it.
