We Israelis did not think, expect or believe for a moment that the world is capable of learning or that the world can be taught anything. Minorities must survive, independent of the of the world`s goodwill. They must amass power, both financial and military to make it very painful, in fact deadly, for others to "wipe them of the map".
As much as I respect Elie Wiesel, but his pain
led him to believe that he can share his pain with others and obtain the proper response and thus change the genocidal tendencies of mankind. He is a true humanitarian living among sick and dysfunctional world. |
