Native peoples were first killed off both with guns and through illnesses brought by the Europeans who came there. Even today, there are reservations for Native Americans in Canada; Granted, they are wealthy, helped through the casinos operating on their lands, which were once not allowed at all on other parts of Canadian soil. These however are loosing popularity, with the ban on smoking. |
