| The only way that the Likud could rule as a one-party state would be if 60% + of the population voted for it in a election. If that fear had even a little basis then any Livni-Barak coalition is essentially the victory of corrupt politicians over and above the will of the people. Or to be concise: dictatorship. So you would favor a dictatorship over democratic elections if that is what it would take to ignore the will of the people in Israel for a government that isn`t going to surrender vital interests in order to appease the Arabs? |
