| Question: What would have happened, if the Pope had, without any "fear of revenge", publicly condemned the genocide and declared that any Catholic German participating in it would be automatically excommunicated? Answer: He would have truly deserved the title some Catholics wish to bestow upon him. "Fear of revenge" is, as I recall it, not an attribute of a Catholic saint. |
