The reaction to stop piling pressure on the Pope is like a window into the past, specifically to the period of WWII. If groups would have had access to the Pope during this period and applied pressure on him to take action against the Nazi`s, they would have been met with a similar reaction.
It`s the attitude of the Catholic church towards Jews that is the problem. The Catholic church has much to be ashamed about when it comes to it`s inaction during WWII and I am not even talking about Jewish owned artwork that many believe it holds in it`s secret vaults. |
