It is true: an Obama Administration will open direct talks with Iran.
After which, Iran needs to be very, very careful. Obama will be looking for real flexibility and compromise on Iran`s nuclear programme - not more empty promises and endless stone-walling. He will take the measure of the Tehran regime very quickly; and if Ahmadinejad insults Obama`s intelligence by playing out the usual nonsense, Iran will lose its best (and possibly only) chance of re-joining the community of nations and re-entering a constructive relationship with America.
Ahmadinejad had best not be measured by Obama and then be found wanting. Mene, mene ...
