The majority of the US Jewish establishment has "worked for" and not against Mr.Obama. What is clear, is that Ms.Livni will have to tread softly, can she.? Lets face it, with such a mixture in her coalition it will be almost impossible. Israel cannot enter the new international political scenario about to unfold with the same dog eared participants of the past. Israel needs an elected Government that will decide whether the rules of Washington are to be adhered to under a more liberal administration. Mr. Obama will not hesitate in pulling troops out of Iraq, nor will he sit back for Iran. Iran will be top of the agenda, that is diplomacy a la carte. Israel will either have to live with a nuclear Iran in the near future or strike now as most European diplomats have stated. That song,"Its now or never"!
