| Your version of events is not completely correct as well. Israel first entered Gaza strip in 1957, during it`s first aggression against Egypt. The entry was bloody, as the IDF stormed through the strip, while summarily executing civilians and members of the Palestinian Arab forms. And you must also not forget that most of Gazans are refugees that were kicked out of Israel proper during the first war and they will certainly not love Israel in the future. You must also not forget that Hamas is a creation of the Israeli GSS (security services), and that it was engineered to counter the nationalist agenda of Fatah back in the 1980`s. And finally, Qassams where flying way before Sharon withdrew the nutcases from Gush Katif. Think, we didn`t have a single day of quiet in Gaza until the very ceasefire that is so much hated now. |
