| Though those who oft post here no me as no fan of Isreal`s policies, I will go on record as saying this is a mistake as reported. I know this is no solace to the Shalit family, but Isreal should not give up this much. Sad for the Shalit family, but this should never have gone through. It will only give green light for future operations by Hamas. I have not read the details, are these true "criminals" or Freedom Fighters? Criminals? Should be no deal. Freedon Fighters, based on their actions, should be the only trade. Prisoner swap. But1,000 for 1, seems extreme. Seems they are the ones suffering, but Isreal is caving. |
