This was the worst firebomb attack that I recall. It also helped bury the election chances of the Labour Party.
I also had a next door neighbour for a few years who was hit by a molotov cocktail while in uniform. His burns were horrific (ears, most of his fingers, hair all burned off permanently) and he`s only one of many (sorry, I don`t have the exact figures) who were seriously injured by firebombs.
Yes, firebombs (molotov cocktails) are a deadly weapon, and those throwing them are doing so to try and kill people. The Palestinians do NOT have any right at all to throw them with impunity. Those who do obviously put themselves into the category of armed attacker and can get themselves shot. |
