Several decades ago, one of the Saudi oil mavens warned that the stone age didn`t end because they ran out of stones. He was warning that the oil age wouldn`t last forever, either, and it might not be because no more oil could be found.
Biofuels, wind, solar, nuclear, clean coal and so on will put the kabosh on oil sooner or later. Will jatropha seed be a part of that? Who knows, but I`m proud of the engineers and entrepreneurs that are on the forefront of it, and wish them the best.
Down with the Petrodictators. Let`s get a world where Saudi Arabia has as much influence as Mauritania, and the major exports of Iran are carpets and pistachio nuts. |
