The Neocons have been planning their war with Iran for ages. They always saw it as the only way for the US to take over the huge Iranian oil reserves. They are seriously deluded, but they were probably not risking the very existance of the USA.
However, Israel`s plans to carry out her own attack on Iran are a different kettle of fish. She will be starting a war she could very easily loose. Iran has clearly stated that she will reply by attacking both Israel and the US who she considers to be Israel`s enabler in this looney venture.
And she cannot use even one small nuke because Iran will then have every justification to make a few of her own to use in the later years of the war...........
Iran is not building bombs, but she has every right to as big a civil nuclear industry as takes her fancy
