| No Sylvie, the Ultra-Orthodox stone throwers are a fringe minority in Israeli society, and you know this fact if you live here. Many of our ultra-orthodox citizens find Jewish stone-throwing abhorrent and even against Halacha. I suggest you watch TV news more often, including Arabic language stations, and you will see frequent Arab stone throwing as an accepted protest behaviour, in many cases encouraged by the authorities. |
