| I don`t see this necessarily as a bad thing. Making driving easier for some drivers (in this case, women) with parking devices, automatic gear, girly colors, or GPS isn`t something new. A lot of men here have those (ok maybe not the girly colors!),the difference is between marketing strategies here. I see this more of a marketing strategy, not necessary segragating the sexes. Beware of Persian women in Iran. They strangely resemble the American feminist movement. 60% of univesity graduates are women. Many of the Parliamentarians in Iran are women. The 03 Nobel Peace Leaureate is an Iranian Lady lawyer (some other civil rights lady lawyers in Iran have won prizes like one just last month. The women`s movement just succeeded to block a chauvinistic Bill from passing in the Parliament. Give these women a few years and you`d be surprised at how the will uproot the mullahs` rule! Iranian society is a lot more than what is portrayed in our media. |
