the only credible defense shield against Iran for the region! And we need not even go into details over Bush turning tail regarding a direct threat to Iran to dismantle her nuclear program, and the responsibility and risk that lays directly on the doorstep of Israel not only to deal with the problem, but to be blamed for the fallout resulting from a preemptive strike against Iran in terms of increased threat to oil supplies and shipping and resulting speculation and yet greater price inflation, etc.
Whatever their similarities in politics at the very least Obama offers a change of political party. And after eight disastrous Republican years, any change is better than four more years! |
