| one can`t blame bronfman for his misplaced attempt. in fact, rav kook indicates its the failure of those who know and understand better to communicate the beauty of torah judaism to those like bronfman. his advocacy of judaism by one of the parents already has an address-the reform movement. but its a failing experiment. moreover judaism isn`t about numbers. those who are dedicated to torah,eretz yisrael and a`m yisrael will endure and even soon be the majority. there are more kids in religious schools grade one today than non religious schools. but its not about demographics. its about deep and meaningful dedication to hash-m and his torah. every jew has the spark of holiness within to (re)discover the age old truth. the solution ISN`T dilution any more than it would be for bronfman`s liquors. |
