| You ever hear of the expression there`s no use beating a dead horse? I assume Mr. Shamir is not orthodox. If he really things any pleading, threads or any other type of convincing he might try might impact Halacha and the beliefs of the Orthodox, he is wrong. If it was the Israeli government that had control over recognizing mixed marriages it would be one thing. But try as they may, they can`t dictate to the religous what they want, or what laws to change. |
