This reminds me of neighbors who do nothing but yell and curse at each other. You conclude they are just unhappy and can`t be helped, so after a while you just close your windows and try to ignore them. Israel is becoming that neighbor.
Israel (where I once lived) has so much venom and hate built up that she does not prefer compassion -- even when it would do no other harm. I`m sure the years of Arab terrorism has contributed to that attitude. But if that`s the case, then unfortunately the terrorism succeeded. Disregarding the welfare of a loyal resident and contributing, and the emotional welfare of citizens -- including members of IDF, does nothing, absolutely nothing, to promote any body`s welfare. |
