| Unless M is a security threat or suspected of being a possible suicide bomber what possible reason is there for keeping him away from his family except callous insensitivity to say the least. More likely it is prejudice ingrained in too many of my fellow Israelis who, while claiming to be a democratic society, actually follow a caste system even amongst themselves, and certainly see most if not all Palestinians as "untouchables" and the less their number in Israel the better. |
