| For Arabs of West Bank just 2 real options exist: (a) Hamas rule (b) Jordanian rule. Only force keeping Fatah presence alive and preventing WB from turning into another Gaza overran by Hamas is Israeli army. Solutions: - Gaza: With or - if necessary - without Hamas, needs to be turned into Singapore/Dubai-like industrial/logistics hub on Eastern Mediterranean. - West Bank: In light of more complex geopolitics, parts of WB to be linked with Jordan; safeguarding security and settlements for Israel, demographics for Arabs, holy sites for both. Any other track, including 2-state proposal, will only cause more war and bloodshed, and could be lethat not only for Israel, but also for Jordan, and ultimately to WB Arabs. |
