| Many refuse to accept what actually happened in Lithuania during the war and the combining of Nazi and Soviet history is another injustice and gross distortion. This propaganda has a purpose and that is to confuse people over the history and facts. Those who spread it have criminal intent. Lithuania has decided not to prosecute its Nazi war criminals and instead harrass elderly Jewish partisan war heroes Arad, Margolis and Brancovskaja. Lithuanians are quick to jump on any news they do not accept but they need to look carefully at the truth before spewing more of this hatred and propaganda. They should ask themselves why their own Nazi war criminals have not been prosecuted. Why is the Nazi and Soviets era being mixed up? As bad as the Soviets were, they did not mass exterminate entire ethnic groups! Teaching the lessons of the Holocaust will create a mroe tolerant society. To date, Lithuania has failed terribly but its not too late. We remain hopeful. |
