Few as they were,they were told by the local bobbies to report to the police station and be deported to the Continent.
Germans didn`t know who was a Jew,it was local officialdom extending their best effort to find the Jews.
A British Intelligence officer investigating just after the war the behaviour of locals heavily condemned the Bailiff of Guernsey for his enthusiastic cooperation on the Jews with the Nazis.On other issues the Bailiff dodged the Germans(like denouncing the freemasons).He got a medal from the King after the WW2.
