| In ten or fifteen years, when thousands more will be killed on both sides, when new weapons and missiles will have armed both sides, what will be the difference? Or do you think that the people Israel is repressing with its settler policies will forget in 15 years and decide to choose another approach? I think you will find out that in 60 years they have not forgotten one bit, and the new generations are even more willing to wage militant attacks - and these are not the people who used to live in Palestine and were expelled with Israel`s creation, but their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. That should tell you something about the status quo, and how dangerous it is to continue this way, citing `existential threats` and repeating the same old rhetoric. |
