What you quote in your post by Tzvi Gedaliahu is irrelevant to the issue of the Palestinians. The Palestinian problem has little to do with Islam. It`s about PEOPLE who want to live on the lands of their ancestors in homes they built, and not under occupation, and have the right of self-determination.They and their Arab neighbors don`t ask anymore for all of Palestine, but only for what remains after the pre-1967 borders, which ain`t very much. They have little sympathy - and so does the world - for Jewish expansionism based, by the way, on a religious premise not less agressive than Islam.
Prof. Sternhell should not be labelled as "leftist", at least not in a derogatory sense. He is a truel Zionist who wants to see a Jewish State with a Jewish majority within borders that are politically justifiable. |
