Earlier on Saturday 27.09.2008 two settler youths were attacked near the Ibrahimi mosque in the old city of Hebron. These youths needed hospitalisation, but unclear is the extend of their injuries.
Then later on the same day Yahya Atta Rayahin Bani Minnah, the 19 year old Palestinian shepherd is chased and murdered in an area south of Nablus. Some eye witnesses claim that colonists (from Itamar, one of the colonies with extreme right wing colonists) in a white vehicle stopped and chased down the shepherd. He was then shot: 20 bullits fired at close range. A callous execution style murder.
In view of the habit of extreme colonists to react to incidents like the one in Hebron with ESCALATION thinking that this will deter Palestinians there is indeed a grave suspicion that this murder was committed by settler criminals. |
