There are violent forces in Syria that are vying for power. The usual Shiite - Sunni tussle and/or some other tribal conflicts.
Israel &/or the West will probably cope the blame.
It appears that the peddlers of terrorism are not immune to having terror come back their way. A melt down in Syria would be in no one`s interest but a democratic change there would give a voice to the groups unhappy with the one party (Baath) dictatorship that controls Syria now. |
