May I add that prof Sternhell, with all due respect for a very honorable man, forgets a simple fact. He lives in a country whose existence is being denied. It is a fact.
You cannot speak about "right wing" , till the existence of the country has been accepted.
You may speak of "fanatics", "zealots", "crazy criminals". But the very essence of "right" and "left" needs a country as such, with existence and borders accepted.
Amos Oz put this very clearly a long time ago. This is the only country whose existence is even denied by a so called "leftist" wing. |
