May the perpetrator(s) of the pipe bomb attack get caught by the police, and rot in prison.

That being said, Prof. Ze`ev Sternhell`s suggestions that Isralei democracy is reaching it end because of this incident is absurd. The Israeli democratic process is indeed creaking and groaning under the outrageous weight of a government which since the second Lebanon War, has refused to listen to the electorate and allow national elections to take place. We now have a new Prime Minister who the public did not vote for, and parties in control which have no rights to mandate. There is indeed a travesty of the democratic process taking place in Israel right now, but it is the central leftist movements who are to blame, and not a handful of criminal right wing extremists as this article ridiculously suggests.
