| As a former IDF soldier myself, I always believed the Army and the government would do anything for their soldiers. To see that no action is being taken to free Shalit is extremely disappointing and a huge letdown to anyone who ever served in Israel`s military. What does a soldier who is now serving must think? It has to have a negative effect on morale to see all these "goodwill" prisoner releases from Israel with nothing tied to Gilad Shalit`s release. This government won`t even back their own soldiers. This is a national disgrace! |
