Redmike, obviously you do not need to support children. To feed and cloth them. Do you know the price of a decent pair of shoes. Do you know kids grow and need new shoes every 6 months or so? Do you know how much a teenager eats while in his/hers growing phases??
There is plenty of poverty in Israel, you are just lucky enough not to see it in your circle of friends and family. Don`t forget, some people are too proud to hold up their hands and beg for food. I noticed a lot of Israelis close their eyes for such problems as poverty and discrimination. How sad. |
