Anyone intelligent enough to be a doctor or nurse, can figure out that living in a war zone, like Israel, is much less desirable than living in a peaceful place like Europe or the US. Not only does the compensation for medical professionals not match the rest of the world, but it is nowhere close to compensation for the increased risk to the medical professional and their family from being in ISrael.
For example, right now there are loud voices in Israel screaming to start a war with Iran, which will result in a huge number of Israeli deaths. When he war with Iran starts, it will be relatively safer outside the ME then being in Israel.
I turned down some very HIGH paying jobs in Iraq, because I want to live a long life. Given the very iffy situation in Israel, I wouldn`t take a job in Israel for any amount of money either. |
