| 1)gross exagerations: calling the USA, GB, France along the trailing Germany "major powers"(only if you let them be and assuming them to be the "WEST"..) 2)doubble meaning: ..so-called two-track approach - using both carrots and sticks.. (whom against Iran or Russia/China?) 3)wishfull thinking: ..A European diplomat said after the talks that all sides agreed on the principle of more sanctions.. 4)plain lies: .."We(the USA) would urge them(the russians) to put aside, as we have, any issues that exist between the United States/the rest(?!?) of the world on Georgia.. 5)more wishfull thinking: ..I guess it will be more or less the same," said a senior European official. .. 6)biased thinking: ..Stephen Hadley, said it was "not reassuring" that Iran was not cooperating with the IAEA..(since when do the USA care about IAEA issues??) 7)plain denial of reality on ground: ..McCormack rejected the view that time was running out and that only a weak UN resolution, if any, could emerge.. |
