Hard to do, considering one is a vegetable and the other is about to travel to Washington, but there you go.... Because it was the one called "Sharon" who declared that all talks subsequent to Oslo were null and void. Not "Abbas", but "Sharon". MoTA: "On each occasion, with each speech, he brings up core issues that have been discussed and sorted out as if they were new to us" !!!! It was OLMERT who kept saying "Jerusalem? No, I can`t talk about Jerusalem. Let`s put that one off until later...." ABBAS is negotiating on the basis of the Saudi Initiative, which puts ALL the core issues on the table. The Israeli position is to try to take and many core issue OFF the table as quickly as possible. Indeed, the *only* Israeli leader who has *ever* been willing to talk about Jerusalem *at* *all* was Ehud Barak. The. Only. One. |
