Father Brockmann should reread Article 22 of the League of Nations and the Mandate of the areas formerly held by the Ottoman Empire that were assigned to the British. Under the Mandate administered by the British of the area known as Palestine there is only mention the formation of a Jewish National Homeland with civil and religious rights of all other inhabitants to be respected and protected by law. There is no mention of an independent Arab nation.
Whether the resolutions of 1947 were declared null and void by the armed warfare of the surrounding Arabs will make interesting points of discussion. The borders set in the "Partition" no longer exist.
Once peace occurs in the area, then borders can be set. Normalcy cannot return because what was "normal" was constant conflict
